We recently took a trip to the Irish Whiskey Museum in Dublin.
Perfectly located in the heart of the city, beside Trinity College and Grafton Street, the Museum promises an enjoyable visit for the whiskey enthusiasts out there!

Recently we held an Introduction to Bushmills Malts here at Garavan’s Bar with Shane Lorwy of the Busjmills Whiskey and our very own Niamh Walsh. Attendees were treated to four beautiful Bushmills malts, considered one of Irish whiskeys great unsung heroes!
There was magic in the air last week as over 45,000 people lined the to watch the annual Macnas Parade here in Galway. This year’s parade, Savage Grace was described as a relentless ballad, a deliriously dark and delicious waltz between love and loss. Artistic Director Noeline Kavanagh explained how it was a “poetic symphony of crazy chaos”.
While Japanese whisky is just over century old and only a handful of distilleries exist, this hasn’t stopped it from creating a unique, much loved style. Ireland's biggest and most famous festival is held in Galway during the last week of July every year. During this 7 day period from the 25th to the 31st July some 250,000 people attend the Galway Races and the buzz around town is unreal.
