On Tuesday evening Garavan's played host to the Irish Coffee Event which seen 14 bartenders from an array of bars around the city go head to head to create the most perfect traditional and signature Irish Coffee.
In association with Power's Irish Whiskey, the event allowed the bartenders to showcase their skills and creativity. There was a full house as each bartender battled to impress celebrity judges chef Kevin Dundon and Ireland's top mixologist Ariel Sanecki.
With return flights to San Francisco and a generous €500 spending money up for grabs, everyone was focused and ready to make the best Irish Coffee of their life. Each Irish coffee consisting of a cocktail of hot coffee, Irish whiskey, and sugar, stirred, and topped with thick cream was uniquely made with a special ingredient and twist.
