Recently we held an Introduction to Bushmills Malts here at Garavan’s Bar with Shane Lorwy of the Busjmills Whiskey and our very own Niamh Walsh. Attendees were treated to four beautiful Bushmills malts, considered one of Irish whiskeys great unsung heroes!
There was magic in the air last week as over 45,000 people lined the to watch the annual Macnas Parade here in Galway. This year’s parade, Savage Grace was described as a relentless ballad, a deliriously dark and delicious waltz between love and loss. Artistic Director Noeline Kavanagh explained how it was a “poetic symphony of crazy chaos”.

Receiving particular acclaim in the western world, winning a number of prestigious accolades, it certainly is experiencing growing popularity even amongst the most traditional Whisky drinker.
